Freedom Call
probably knows almost every self-respecting fan of metal music. You may know this band for various reasons - some know it as a synonym to the phrase "gay metal", others to the "candy p2p2", and others due to hit fast and catchy music. The team in just one year after a good "Crystal Empire" released "magnum opus" in their discography - the album you are not able to jump from 2002. I probably never the art they will not succeed. And that was in ancient times, when Tobias Sammet, together with my friends gathered and temporarily joined the supergroup called Avantasia. Gentlemen of the Freedom Call could not be worse - although no guests are not invited, but had to record on your own publishing company, which will be able to cope with a melodious monster Sammet and companies.

"Eternity" is the third album in the career of the Germans. The album hit the shelves exactly 3 June 2002 through Steamhammer. The album begins with an epic anthem that is the song "Metal Invasion" - an association with the tricks known to Avantasii is obvious, especially when it comes to playing the choir and symphony parties. It is of course, very anthemic number, but still raised its beginning has a strong influence on the whole. The same refrain, if not for the guitar playing "p2p2 'in the background would be as solemn as a start. "Flying High" is a real hit back with an easy to remember melodies and extremely catchy chorus. Of course, Chris Bay does a good job for the sieve - sings with passion and it comes out great. Maybe this piece is not so good in the verses, as in the chorus, but such was the charm of Freedom Call. One of the real killers in this release is "Ages Of Power". Tougher vocals only add to the charm of this specific composition. Song very melodic (though like all) and certainly stands out against the other. "Bleeding Heart" is unfortunately starszna torment, and one of the weakest parts on "Eternity". Tearful ballad with a slight kick. However, it is nohow to swjego successor - a piece that has always been number one for me in terms of compositions Freedom Call. I mean of course the "Warriors." An extremely energetic, but also full of pathos song that these may not be the most extensive, but as you can see (or rather hear) took a great track and I think there is a person who znałaby the name of Freedom Call, and not just kojarzyłaby this composition. A real hit anthem. And this is melodic guitar splashing in the background. "The Eyes Of The World" is always put on a par with "Metal Invasion" - if only because symphonic licks here are similarly used. As there is no backing vocals, such as in the opener, but the climate also raised. Chris, as usual, crows, but it can happen very well. The albums that I know for a long time I have a situation that simply look at the tracklist and you pull out after the name of the biggest killers, and the weaker pieces - none of those I had when I looked the name "Flame In The Night." And no wonder, the song is free, completely devoid of eggs. A typical piece that requires a concert from the fans to start a lighter. Although the vocals fall out quite well. Fortunately, those benefits are not in the previous issue had fallen asleep in the prize are the next big thing coming from this album - "Land Of Light". This piece probably will always be to me to associate with the "Reach Out For The Light" Avantasii. It is true that civil utowry have little in common, but both hits in a similar climate. The same "Land Of Light" seems to me to be a more combative - and a little festyniarski (Especially when it comes to keyboards). In any case, listen to it really nicely. For the "Island of Dreams" has always had great weakness. It is true that this is not quite as catchy song like "Warriors", but just such pieces are missing on newer releases Freedom Call - lightweight, easy delivery, catchy and very formidable. At the end we get łzwą ballad, but played on with the class - "Turn Back Time." Moreover, such a bit shanty song. Completion sadly unworthy of publishing such a hit.

Freedom Call is a band that plays very light and melodic metal - sometimes even dawn I thought in my mind that this is not the end of the metal, because it is too sugary. But every time I reach for "Eternity" I can not get away from him. Interestingly, the band never recorded a hit later, not worthy of "Warriors", "Ages Of Power", "Metal Invasion," "The Eyes Of The World" and "Land Of Light". It seems that on the occasion of this album have used most of their best ideas. Therefore, "Eternity" sounds like a compilation of "The Best Of ...", and in its" weight class "I think this album still has no equal.
