Review by Est

In 2008 the band released their sixth album, where the team played far differently than in its early days - the "Blooddrunk" has evidently been going on that band for their covered the main objective of the U.S. conquest of the music market. Similarly, you can write about his predecessor, that is, "Are You Dead Yet?", but the changes they made in the style of the band came to me for good. In any event, three years after the release of weak, "Blooddrunk" the band released their seventh studio album - the premiere of "Relentless Reckless Forever" took place on March 8, 2011, but the excitement began to arouse much earlier. Sam band cleverly dawkowała further information on the new release.

What emotions aroused a new album? Rather negative, after the band obviously fell through, "Blooddrunk" no one expected anything good after coming release. On my new album did not do much of an impression - sooner expect a repeat of what I heard on "Blooddrunk" than to return to the glory years. In any event, "Relentless Reckless Forever" nothing special stands out - but admit that the opening track, new album, Children Of Bodom pricked me very positively to this release. "Not My Funeral" has a touch of magic that accompanied the band in the early years - it is this wildness mixed with characteristic buttons by Warman. Only thing missing here is a really good chorus. And as we continue to on the album? Well, just very hard to say because even though I listened to "Relentless Reckless Forever" so many times (mainly due to the fact that you do not accidentally miss something) is the remainder of the album flies by and leaves behind almost anything - even disgust you accompanied odsłuchom "Blooddrunk". I'm not going to dwell on the strength, but I feel that if it were not Children of Bodom logo on the cover of this one would be especially interested in this material is not, because like why? There is nothing here ponadprogramowego, nor is there anything you would not have heard repeatedly (Mainly just because of CoB), it's no longer attracted. On the other hand, the band pulls it has already played and completely does not introduce anything new - well, you can complain about the lack of "news," but whether they had appeared, it would not be complaining that the experiment unnecessarily? And so bad and so sick. Maybe it's time to give up, or actually go back to what they played at the beginning, when they were a fashion Unique? But going back even to the contents of "Relentless Reckless Forever" - the album was promoted by a piece of "Was It Worth It?", How well-chosen title. Well, was it worth it? Probably not really, because the same piece of rather poorly encouraged to check the contents of the album, unless you've never heard of kids from the lake Bodom.

the question - "it was worth?" Answer "probably not". On the one hand you can hear that the band wants to return to its roots, on the other hand all the time are reflected echo "Blooddrunk". The problem is that the bands playing in a style similar to CoB is still coming and a large part of them have already surpassed the Finns. The new material adds nothing new, after repeated listening nothing gets in your head (maybe except for the first piece), there is too much at a stand, nor reproached. This album is an extension of the agony of Children Of Bodom.
